The Pellston Elementary Staff holds high expectations that all students will meet or exceed academic standards. While maintaining a caring attitude that will foster good citizenship, we will utilize approaches, strategies, and programs that will enable all students to learn.

Original construction of the Pellston Elementary School building on Zipf Street was completed in 1969. Additions to the building were completed in 1976. In 1993 the Pellston Elementary School building was completely renovated. Then in 2004 a new roof and HVAC system were added. With all the changes and additions, this 50,000 square foot facility is a highly functional elementary school facility serving students in grades K-5, though this has not always been the case. For many years it was both Elementary and Middle School for Pellston students. When the addition was completed to the High School, that enlarged building became Pellston Middle/High School.
