Trustee: April Landon

As a new board member, I am very excited to be a part of my childrens’ school district’s educational process.  I want to be more involved in my children’s education.  I want to be part of the future of education for the children of Pellston.  It is a pleasure to give input on the decisions of the Board, which will affect all of our children and to help make their educational journey as special as possible.  Education is the root of the future and I want to help our small district in any way that I can.

I have been involved in the Pellston PTO for the past three years and have served as Vice-President, in the past.

Given the budgetary constraints that all schools are facing, my goal for our district is to continue to give the students the highest level of education possible with the best and most qualified teachers.  We need to keep our children interested in their education.

I enjoy spending time with my family at our cottage, camping with friends, fishing as a family, skiing and helping coach my children’s sports.  I also volunteer in my children’s classrooms as much as possible!
